Our School in Europe – Erasmus+ Projects at Our School

Our Erasmus Days event will present the wider Erasmus+ journey of OŠ “Miloje Čiplić” and give visitors an opportunity to learn about the international experiences of our pupils and teachers. It will take place outdoors, in the street directly in front of OŠ “Miloje Čiplić”, where we will set up a public Erasmus+ stand with photographs, display boards, posters and project materials. The exhibition will present the wider Erasmus+ journey of our school and give pupils, parents, local residents and passers-by an opportunity to learn about the international experiences of our pupils and teachers.

The display will include photographs, maps, pupils’ reflections, learning materials and results from previous Erasmus+ partnerships, group pupil mobilities, staff job-shadowing activities and international visits hosted by our school. It will also feature our award-winning STEM project, literacy activities inspired by Erasmus+ experiences and examples of how ideas gained during mobilities have been introduced into everyday school life. Pupil ambassadors will welcome visitors, guide them through the exhibition, share their own experiences and explain what Erasmus+ has brought to them and to the school.

Visitors will also be invited to contribute to our interactive EU Values chart by writing what values such as democracy, equality, freedom, solidarity, inclusion and respect mean to them.

During Erasmus Days week, our school will also be hosting an international learning, teaching and training activity within the Erasmus+ PROTECT project, which focuses on climate education and pupil voice. Teachers and project representatives from Ireland, Norway, Portugal and Croatia will spend the week in Novi Bečej working together with our school team and pupils.

In the afternoon, our international guests will join pupils at the Erasmus Days stand for an interactive pupil voice activity. Each visiting delegation will bring an environmental question and several ideas prepared by pupils from its school. These questions will be displayed under the flags of the partner countries, and our pupils will add their own responses and suggestions. Parents, teachers and other visitors will also be encouraged to contribute their ideas for greener schools. In this way, the event will connect our school’s wider Erasmus+ experience with European values, international cooperation, climate education and the voices of young people.
