SustainaKids Future Makers

This event brings sustainability to life through interactive, hands-on stations designed to inspire kids and families to take real action for our planet. Built in collaboration with Istanbul University, we’re blending creative arts, practical science, and everyday habits to make big global ideas accessible to young minds.
What You’ll Experience:
• The Sustainable Table (17 Goals, 17 Actions): A central space where we break down the UN’s Global Goals into 17 simple, meaningful actions kids can practice in their daily lives.
• Eco-Fashion & Upcycling Corner: A hands-on studio where young designers turn discarded materials into new creations while learning about circular design, recycling, and textile ecology.
• Cultural Sustainability & Wellness: An area dedicated to mindful living, well-being, and local heritage, exploring how our cultural habits shape a healthier environment.
• Sustainable & Social Kitchen: A live food lab focused on zero-waste cooking, plant-friendly recipes, and the social impact of the food on our plates.
• Future Designs & Inventions: Guided by mentors from Istanbul University, kids get to brainstorm, prototype, and build green technology solutions for tomorrow’s challenges.
