As part of Erasmus Days, our school celebrates the international opportunities and connections provided by the Erasmus+ programme. For more than 20 years, our institution has been offering students and teachers the opportunity to travel abroad, gain new knowledge and experiences, and discover the cultures, traditions, flavours and colours of other countries.
As part of the event, each class, together with their teachers, prepares a presentation about one of our Erasmus+ partner countries or a European Union member state. Students create creative decorations, posters and short films, with a strong focus on recycling and the reuse of materials. In this way, sustainability also plays an important role in this year’s Erasmus Days celebration.
We organise a variety of workshops for our guests, giving them the opportunity to learn more about our international projects and Erasmus+ activities. Through presentations and interviews, our students share their Erasmus+ mobility experiences with their peers and invited guests, offering an insight into the opportunities, challenges and memorable moments they have experienced abroad.
Both teachers and students take an active role in the event, working together to create a celebration of international cooperation, cultural diversity and learning beyond borders. The programme concludes with the traditional cutting of the Erasmus cake, specially prepared for the occasion by our school’s pastry-making students.
