3rd Edition of the AFPA European Culinary Challenge – Erasmus Days 2026

As part of Erasmus Days 2026, Afpa is organising the third edition of its European Culinary Challenge, taking place on 14 October 2026 at the Afpa training centre in Champs-sur-Marne, in the Paris Region.

The event will bring together trainees and trainers from European partner institutions for a professional culinary challenge focused on cocktails and street food. Each participating institution will be represented by a team composed of one trainee chef, one trainee commis and one accompanying trainer. The trainees will compete in mixed Franco-European teams, combining their professional skills, creativity and teamwork to develop a culinary creation within a set time.

The challenge will be judged by a panel of renowned culinary professionals, who will assess the teams based on professional criteria.

Through this event, Afpa aims to promote European cooperation, intercultural exchange, professional skills development and mobility, while creating opportunities for trainees and training professionals from different European countries to learn and work together.
