Kutná Hora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Czech Republic’s most historically rich towns. Once the second most important city in the Kingdom of Bohemia after Prague, Kutná Hora flourished thanks to its silver mines and royal mint, leaving behind a legacy of stunning architecture and cultural treasures.
The tour will focus on the breathtaking St. Barbara’s Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece with rich ties to the town’s mining history. You’ll also explore the picturesque old town, full of winding streets and historic buildings.
There will be an optional visit to either the GASK Gallery, showcasing contemporary art in a stunning baroque setting, or the Bone Chapel (Kostnice), famous for its unique and eerie decorations made from human bones.
