Europe of Solidarity & Europe of Caring Hearts

Europe of Solidarity & Europe of Caring Hearts is a special Erasmus Days event that connects European values with our school’s Mission Day and the charity initiative “Misijný koláč”. This year, we aim to highlight how solidarity is lived in the countries we have cooperated with, currently cooperate with, and hope to cooperate with in the future through Erasmus+. Charity, volunteering and community support are natural parts of school life across our partner communities.
During the event, our pupils will explore, investigate and learn how solidarity, charity and volunteering are expressed across different European countries. Afterwards, they will present various forms of charity work, volunteering and community support inspired by countries across Europe. Our international guests from France, who are visiting us for job shadowing, will actively join these activities and share examples of solidarity projects from their own schools and regions.
The event shows that solidarity is a universal European value expressed in diverse cultures and educational communities. Through intercultural dialogue, creativity and service learning, we celebrate a Europe where helping others is lived, shared and taught across borders.
