Young voices on housing: round tables on the housing crisis and decent living conditions

The event will bring together young advocates, policymakers, experts and representatives of civil society to discuss the housing crisis and the growing normalisation of undignified housing conditions in Czech Republic.
The round tables are organised within the Erasmus+ project YES – Youth Empowerment for a Stronger Europe, which supports young people in developing advocacy skills, identifying social challenges in their communities and engaging directly with decision-makers.
During the event, young advocates will present their awareness and advocacy campaign focused on housing affordability, poor housing standards and the lived experiences of people affected by the housing crisis. The discussion will create space for dialogue between young people and stakeholders and will focus on possible solutions, policy recommendations and next steps for youth-led advocacy.
The event will include two separate round tables: one focused on lived experience, campaign findings and public awareness, and the second focused on policy dialogue, recommendations and follow-up actions.
