Cork English College
The Erasmus Village is a three-hour, in-person cultural festival celebrating the experiences, skills and connections created through Erasmus+. Cork English College will be transformed into an interactive exhibition featuring contributions from current and former Erasmus+ participants, including photographs, video and written testimonials, postcards, personal messages, recipes and cultural stories.
Visitors will be able to explore different areas throughout the event, including a Story Square and Erasmus Cinema, a Culture Market showcasing countries and traditions represented within the CEC community, a European Café with international food and drinks, a Music Square featuring songs and the Erasmus memories associated with them, and an Irish Corner celebrating the culture of the host country.
An Erasmus Community Exhibition will extend throughout the school, with participant photographs, recipe bunting, postcards, memories and QR codes linking to digital contributions. Visitors will also be able to contribute messages to the Erasmus Tree and to future Erasmus+ participants.
A specially designed Erasmus Passport will guide visitors through the different areas. Each station will provide a stamp containing one letter, with the completed passport spelling ERASMUS.
Reflecting the 2026 theme “Learning and growing: skills for tomorrow,” the event will highlight intercultural learning, language, digital and professional skills, lifelong learning and the lasting impact of Erasmus+ experiences.
