From Preparation to Reflection: Unlocking the Intercultural Potential through Student Mobility

Student mobility creates opportunities for intercultural growth, but meaningful learning does not happen automatically. How can universities better support students before departure and help them reflect afterwards so that intercultural competences are not only experienced, but consolidated and carried forward?

Through real institutional examples, student perspectives, and hands-on exploration, participants will discover how structured preparation and post-mobility reflection work together to maximise the learning potential of mobility experiences. At the centre of the event are the practical outputs developed through PADMICA: a set of ready-to-use, adaptable intercultural learning modules, designed to support students before and after mobility, together with facilitation resources.
