Generative AI for Inclusive and Ethical Early Childhood Education

This GENIAL workshop explores how generative AI can be understood, used and critically reflected on in early childhood teacher education and ECEC. Participants will engage with emerging findings from the GENIAL questionnaire, the developing pedagogical framework, the digital platform and planned resources.

Through short presentations and interactive scenario-based reflections, the workshop addresses responsible, inclusive and creative uses of generative AI, with attention to ethics, children’s creativity, professional digital judgement and the role of higher education in preparing future educators.
