European Game Science Lab project
Whoever creates a game makes hundreds of decisions: Which rules apply? What can players do? How does it feel, and what is it actually about? Most are made intuitively, and educators often lack the words to discuss and teach them.
The LUNA Framework gives the conception, development and analysis of games a shared, precise language, plus a material system for hands-on work. In this education workshop, participants explore how designing games can foster systemic thinking, active learning and interdisciplinary collaboration while addressing societal challenges. Get to know the LUNA card stacks, worksheets and boards to get first hand impressions of the framework’s tools. No prior experience in game development is required. The event is organised in the context of the European Game Science Lab (EGSL).
