During Erasmus Days 2026, pupils of the 2nd Primary School Levice will take part in a variety of engaging activities designed to promote European values, cultural diversity, international cooperation and the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme.
The event will begin with an opening ceremony in the school canteen, featuring the European Union Anthem (Ode to Joy), an introduction to Erasmus Days and Erasmus+, and presentations by students who participated in previous Erasmus+ mobilities. Through photos, personal experiences and short quizzes, students will share their learning journeys and encourage discussions about the benefits of international cooperation.
Throughout the day, pupils will engage in interactive digital learning activities using platforms such as Kahoot, Padlet and Actionbound. During English lessons, students will use iPads to complete Erasmus-themed challenges through Actionbound around the school, work in teams, create their own “Erasmus mobility” team names, and record short videos highlighting the benefits of participating in Erasmus+ projects.
The school will host exhibitions of photos, souvenirs, traditional objects, national flags and famous landmarks from countries visited during previous mobilities. Information screens in the corridors will continuously display videos from Erasmus+ activities abroad not only students mobilities but also teachers’ trainings. Students will also enjoy European culture quizzes, international games, language workshops and creative tasks such as colouring maps of Erasmus partner countries.
A special Erasmus photo corner will allow participants to capture memories of the event. The celebration will conclude with a closing ceremony, where students will share their reflections by posting messages on the Erasmus Board and receive certificates of participation.
Through these activities, pupils will develop their language, digital and intercultural competences, strengthen their sense of European identity, and gain inspiration to become active, confident and responsible European citizens.
