Bringing Europe to the Island

To celebrate the Erasmus days, OŠ “Valentin Klarin” Preko transforms its subject classrooms into different European countries. Each lesson begins with a short activity introducing students to a country’s language, culture, traditions and European values, while regular teaching continues. The activities are linked to school subjects and our Erasmus+ project, “Island Guardians: Inclusive, Innovative and Sustainable Learning in an Island Environment.” Through this initiative, students strengthen their language awareness, intercultural understanding, sense of European citizenship and appreciation of their own island identity.
