Building Peace Through Community: What Can We Learn from the Danube Region?

How can local communities contribute to peace in everyday life? What role do culture, education, dialogue, and community participation play in preventing social tensions and strengthening trust? During this interactive session, we will present the DANUBE PEACE project, bringing together experiences from across the Danube region. Participants will explore practical examples of peace education, intercultural dialogue, community resilience, and adult learning, while discussing how these approaches can be applied in their own organisations and communities. The meeting will include examples of good practice, discussion, and opportunities to exchange ideas with professionals working in education, culture, and community development.
