ERASMUS TIME CAPSULE – Messages for Tomorrow

As part of Erasmus Days 2026, the I.C. “G. Mazzini” of Valguarnera Caropepe (Italy) will organize a whole-school event involving kindergarten, primary and lower secondary students.
Inspired by the theme “Learning and growing: skills for tomorrow”, students will create an Erasmus Time Capsule containing letters, drawings, messages, dreams and reflections about the future of Europe and the skills needed for tomorrow.

Kindergarten children will express their dreams through drawings, primary students will write letters to future generations, and lower secondary students will reflect on European values, sustainability, inclusion, digital skills and active citizenship.
During the final event, all classes will gather in the school courtyard to place their contributions inside the Time Capsule, which will symbolically preserve the voices, hopes and aspirations of our students for the Europe of the future.
The activity promotes European citizenship, inclusion, creativity, intergenerational dialogue and the values of Erasmus+ through a meaningful and collaborative experience involving the entire school community.
