From our village to Europe: opening a rural school to languages and mobility

At Collège André Brouillet, a rural lower-secondary school, students and teachers open their doors to Europe. Through exhibitions, presentations in English and student testimonies, they celebrate languages, intercultural openness and the skills that come with them: communication, digital creation, autonomy and confidence. The event showcases the school’s European ambition, from local heritage projects to a future Erasmus+ mobility, and shows how children far from big cities can still become curious, connected European citizens. An intergenerational exchange with a neighbouring care home and a student-made bilingual podcast bring the celebration to life. Families and the local community are warmly welcome.
