Puppet show “The Adventures of Patufet”

We are pleased to inform you that on October 15th at 6:00 p.m., the puppet show “The Adventures of Patufet” will take place at the School of Art and Design (Av. Gràcia, 50, Sant Cugat del Valles). This performance has been collaboratively created by the a group of young people from Czestochowa, Poland and Sant Cugat del Valles, Spain, within the framework of the European Erasmus+ project.

Admission is free, but due to limited seating, prior registration is required by calling (+34) 93 674 13 10.

This show is the result of a youth exchange that took place from July 2 to 12, 2025, involving 24 young participants from Częstochowa and Sant Cugat del Vallès. Throughout the project, participants conceived and developed the entire performance: they imagined the story, wrote the script, designed the puppets and stage set, learned puppetry techniques, and visited the International Puppet Museum. During the stay in Poland, they built the stage elements, composed the original music, and prepared the performance through several rehearsals.

“The Adventures of Patufet” tells the story of a very small boy who, while running what seems like a simple errand, becomes caught up in an extraordinary adventure. Despite his tiny size, his courage and determination lead him to solve a problem that affects the entire village.

It is worth noting that the show is multilingual, with characters speaking Catalan, Spanish, Polish, and English, enriching the theatrical experience and reflecting the spirit of the project.
