Environment Committee of ARADIPPOU MUNICIPALITY
The Environment Committee of Aradippou Municipality, in collaboration with Alexander College in Larnaka, proudly organizes the one–day conference “Environment & Dignity: Living Our European Values”, which will take place on Monday, 13 October 2025, at Alexander College, within the framework of the #ErasmusDays 2025 celebrations.
This event will highlight the fundamental connection between environmental quality and human dignity, while promoting awareness of environmental justice as a shared responsibility. Through keynote speeches, a panel discussion, interactive workshops, and presentations of good practices from local Erasmus+ projects, the programme will showcase how European values—dignity, equality, environmental awareness, and active participation—can inspire sustainable development at the community level.
In addition, a mini exhibition will feature infographics on climate change, photos and posters from local Erasmus+ environmental initiatives, and a vision board created by participants to express what dignity in the environment means to them.
By bringing together students, educators, NGOs, policymakers, and the wider public, the event aims to encourage dialogue, strengthen community action, and inspire new initiatives for a greener and more equitable future.
