ReWear If You Care – Fashion, Technology and Sustainability

“ReWear If You Care” is an online event exploring how innovation, creativity and environmental awareness can transform fashion into a driver of sustainable change.

Organized by UNIPA – Department of Physics and Chemistry “Emilio Segrè” and FICUS ETS, the event is part of the STITCH Project – Sustainability Through Innovation, Training, Creativity & STEAM Horizons – ( project number: 2025-1-IT02-KA220-SCH-000353351) – (Erasmus+ KA220 – School Sector).

Through the lens of STEAM education, the event highlights the link between fashion, technology and sustainability, featuring:

– Workshops on sustainable fashion and upcycling
– 3D printing and innovative textile technologies
– Digital creativity and eco-friendly project design
– The “4Rs Ambassador” program, empowering students to lead sustainability initiatives

Two Sicilian organizations – one based in Palermo and another in the Madonie area – will share their experiences and best practices in a sustainable and community-driven fashion.

The event aims to inspire students, teachers and local communities to rethink consumption habits, promote circular economy values and embrace a more responsible and creative approach to fashion.
