Contemporary Dance & Creative Expression

As part of the Erasmus Days 2025 celebrations, the second-year dance students from the CMJ Dance Course (Conservatório de Música de Jobra) will showcase their work in Contemporary Dance Technique and Creative Expression.
This session offers a unique glimpse into the artistic and technical development of young dancers in training. Through movement, improvisation, and guided exploration, students will focus on body awareness, dynamic flow, and emotional expression — all essential elements of contemporary dance.
The class not only demonstrates physical skill, but also highlights the development of artistic identity and individual voice — values at the heart of both dance education and the Erasmus+ programme, such as creativity, cultural exchange, and freedom of expression.
