“Young European Citizenship and the European Union Democratic Institutions”

On the occasion of Erasmus Days, our school will present the project Young European Citizenship and the European Union Democratic Institutions, the Erasmus+ KA210-SCH project approved for Arenaskolan Timrå from Sweden the project carried in partnership with our Secondary school Ivan Meštrović Drniš, with a grant of €60,000. The project its goal is to encourage students to become active European citizens, strengthen their knowledge about EU institutions, empower digital and civic competences, and include students from rural areas.
During the event, students and teachers will share their experiences from the mobility in Sweden, where they had the opportunity to learn about the Swedish education system, culture, and way of life. Special attention will be given to the visit to Stockholm and Sundsvall, as well as the stay with Swedish host families, which provided students with an unforgettable intercultural learning experience. Erasmus Days will be an opportunity for students and teachers to present their knowledge, experiences, and impressions to the wider school and to inspire other young people to take part in European projects.
