If you don't work in the criminal justice sector, it's likely you won't know much about how and when prisoners use phones in European prisons, and why it's important for people in prison to stay in touch with family, friends and employers on the outside. Yet, since we all live in communities to which people return on release from prison, the effective resettlement of former prisoners (as in, turning away from a life of crime) is relevant to us all.
