Stadtteilarbeit der Caritas der Erzdiözese Wien

The department of Community & Neighbourhood Work of Caritas Vienna is committed to a socially just, lively and inclusive development of districts in Vienna & Lower Austria in the territory of the archdiocese of Vienna. Our interdisciplinary team with diverse experience supports self-empowerment, co-creation and solidarity-based action in neighborhoods, districts and communities. Since 2022 we have been engaged in different ERASMUS+ projects. The common ground of these projects is Community engagement. In this Erasmus+Days-Event we would like to bring people together and talk about all the different projects we are taking part of in one place. We would like to create an atmosphere of participation, discussion and engagement while cooking and eating together. We cherish the opportunities of collective work within our communities and also with different project partners all over Europe – this is how we learn from each other, collaborate and create together. For this event we invite people from our neighbourhood, project networks and participants to join us in the welcoming atmosphere of Community Cooking. We will introduce our current three ERASMUS+ projects and prepare questions connected to their content. These questions should be the starting point for our guests and participants to get in touch, exchange ideas, experiences and also feedback. We will host this event in our Community Kitchen, a welcoming space where we will cook and dine together.
