One of the events to be held as part of Erasmus Days Celebrations is “RECALL: Our Ecological Heritage. The event aims to raise awareness among students about the importance of protecting our natural and cultural environment. Participants will explore traditional ecological practices,local crafts and sustainable living habits passed down through generation. The event includes a trip to KULA, ancient district in western part of Anatolia, MANİSA. Kula or land of fire as people call it because of volcanic history , Kula fairy chimneys and genuine artifacts, authentic houses as examples of ecological architecture. Fairy chimneys is a beautiful natural area formed by old volcanoes and shaped by wind and rain overtime. This area was also designated a UNESCO Heritage Site.The event will take part on october 13 as part of Erasmus Days activities.
