COLEGIO JESÚS MARÍA SAN AGUSTÍN
On 16 October, we open with a reading of the Erasmus+ manifesto and a joint performance of the European anthem, reaffirming our school’s commitment to inclusion, mobility, and European cooperation. Primary pupils will then celebrate with a flag parade, bringing Europe’s symbols and values to life across the playground.
On 17 October, Year 10 (3º ESO) students—supported by VET learners—host an inter-stage workshop circuit for Primary (Years 1–6). Pupils rotate through eight stations on languages, culture, geography and symbols, EU values, citizenship, sustainability, wellbeing, and cooperation. Each completed station earns a stamp in the “Erasmus Passport”; a full passport unlocks the “Junior European Citizen” certificate.
Activities are playful, inclusive, and skills-focused, fostering leadership in older students and curiosity in younger learners.
Aims of the day:
* Bring Europe into the classroom in a playful, participatory way.
* Foster leadership in older students and promote cooperative learning.
* Spark curiosity about European languages and cultures.
* Practise social skills and active citizenship.
