Purpose of the activity:
To develop students’ curiosity about the culture and diversity of European countries in an interactive, enjoyable, and collaborative way, in the true spirit of Erasmus+.
Objectives:
• To discover essential information about ten European countries.
• To collaborate effectively in teams to complete the given tasks.
• To show openness, creativity, and a positive attitude toward learning.
• To become aware of the importance of belonging to the European community.The teacher plays the role of a tour guide and announces to the students that they will embark on an imaginary journey through Europe. The class is divided into teams of 3–4 students, and each team receives an “Erasmus Passport.”
Challenges (30 minutes):
The teacher displays on the board or on cards 10 challenges corresponding to different European countries. The teams must complete the tasks in order to receive a stamp in their passport.
