We will be hosting a whole school event called simply ‘Erasmus Day’ that will take place on the 17th October. This will be a festival to celebrate Erasmus, Europe and Sports with emphasis on the Olympic games especially the 2024 Olympic Games in France but also the Greek origin of the Olympic Games. Apart from small events that will take place during class and break-times, we will be exhibiting work from departments that have been working on the above themes throughout the semester. Events will include: Guest speakers including Athletes from Cyprus and Sports Scientists Displays and discussions of Olympic events during P.E lessons and during break including gymnastic displays. Kiosks selling French food and products. French Songs and games Display of work (pictures, booklets) regarding Europe, France, (French Department) Greece and the Olympic games (Greek Department) We will also have guests from Germany as part of the accreditation job shadowing Mobility who may talk to students about Germany
