The “Green Erasmus – Zero Waste Journey” event aims to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainable living practices among Erasmus+ participants. To raise environmental awareness and encourage sustainable lifestyles within the scope of Erasmus events. The event will show how students reduce plastic use in their daily lives and contribute to zero waste goals. At the same time, an awareness study will be carried out reflecting Erasmus’ environmentally sensitive approach. A seminar will be held for students on environmentally friendly practices. Topics such as the environmental damage caused by plastic waste, reducing water consumption and using recyclable materials will be discussed. Students will be taught the benefits of using water bottles instead of plastic ones and avoiding single-use products. Students will share their personal commitments to protecting the environment and their green messages with messages such as “I don’t use plastic bottles”, “I don’t litter”, “I protect nature by recycling”. Green Movement Video Shoot: The most important part of the event is the shooting of short videos in which the participants introduce their messages and sustainable living practices. Each student will explain the measures they take to protect the environment in the video. These videos will be shared on social media with the “Green Erasmus” tag. In this way, environmentally friendly messages will be delivered to a wide audience.
