Film projection, presentation

The event starts on the 12th with video blogs from students of Our Lady's Secondary School, Belmullet, County Mayo, Ireland, and culminates with the first public viewing of the film made about the project. The film was made with the support of award winning filmmaker Richie O'Donnell and supported by Fergus Sweeney. The students created the concept, the content and participated in making the documentary about the historical views and future opportunities that seaweed can provide. The film depicts the outstanding beauty of the land and seacapes in the area and demonstrates some of the work that was carried out as part of the project. The daily blogs, leading up to the showing of the film, will show students and stakeholders giving short interviews about their impression about the project
