Empowering Teachers and Students to Foster Sustainability through Education – Eco Schools

Miletia Sustainable Social Development is actively participating in Erasmus Days 2025 as a committed partner in Erasmus+ projects that advance sustainability, social inclusion, and educational innovation. As part of the approved KA210-SCH project “Eco-Schools”, coordinated by the French school Lycée Jean-Pierre TIMBAUD and involving the partner Novatex from Cyprus, Miletia contributes to the development of tools and initiatives that promote the integration of sustainable practices within school environments.
During the event, representatives of the Eco-Schools project will collaborate closely with the Directorate of Primary Education of Heraklion and the Environmental Education Centre of Archanes-Rouvas-Gouves. Their joint activities will include presentations, interactive discussions, and hands-on workshops aimed at sharing best practices in environmental education, enhancing cross-border cooperation between schools, and raising awareness within school communities through targeted, impactful actions. Furthermore, Miletia expresses a strong interest in deepening its understanding of the educational programs offered by the Environmental Education Centre by attending a presentation on its Erasmus+ accreditation and related initiatives.
The organization also looks forward to engaging in a practical environmental workshop, reinforcing its commitment to collaboration and expanding its network with local educational and environmental institutions.
